The A Level Biology group are planning a biological expedition through Operation Wallacea to Mexico in July 2023. They will learn valuable fieldwork skills both in a terrestrial environment through their work in the Mayan jungle studying birds, bats, mammals and smaller creatures and plants. In the second week, they will develop skills in marine sampling as they learn about coral reef ecology and sea turtles before carrying these techniques out through either scuba diving or snorkelling. This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for these students to develop understanding and skills to support their future studies.
