Come and join our Christmas Virtual Balloon Race. Each balloon costs just £3 and gives YOU the chance of winning a £500 cash prize!
Starting at 12 noon on Christmas Day, our virtual balloons will be launched from Santa's Office in Lapland. Real weather data is used to calculate the distance and direction each balloon travels. You can customise and decorate your balloons and then track their progress 24/7 using real-time interactive flight path tracking. The race finishes on New Year's Day when the winners will be announced.
We receive no Government or NHS funding and it's thanks to our supporters that we're able to keep flying to save lives across the North West. Read Lily and Emma's story above to find out how your support really makes a difference.
North West Air Ambulance Charity brings the hospital to the patient by flying the most advanced medical crew and equipment to patients when and where they need it most.
Our helicopters and HEMS response vehicles operate 365 days a year, even on Christmas Day, with highly skilled specialist doctors and HEMS paramedics on board providing enhanced pre-hospital care and hospital transfers to patients across the entire North West each year.
