ULVERLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL – SOLIHULL

As you will be aware, due to the current situation, we have sadly not been able to hold the fabulous events we had planned for the summer term. We had planned to run a sunflower growing competition, our traditional father’s day shop, a quiz night and of course UFEST, our own mini summer festival. It was planned to spend the money from this year on more playground games to enrich the children’s break and lunch times and improved recycling facilities inside the classrooms.

So, to try to fill this gap, we’ve turned to raising money online and this is where you can help, by taking part in our Virtual Balloon Race.

There are some great national prizes up for grabs

3. 10 x £10 book tokens
We will also be providing smaller prizes for the 3 balloons that travel the furthest from our school.

Setting off from the Sahara desert on the 8th August, it's a seven-day computer simulation race where everything is real except the balloon. Real weather data is used and you can view your balloon on the map and find out how far it has travelled.

You can buy a virtual balloon for just £3 and choose its shape and colour and even give it a name.
You can alter your balloon’s parameters at any time to increase your chance of winning.

Each balloon costs just £3 and you can buy as many balloons as you want to increase your chances of winning. Every balloon really will make a difference.
