AFOT rescues dogs who have little or no future in Turkey due to terrible abuse, neglect or abandonment. We nurse them mind, body & soul and when ready, we rehome them in loving UK forever homes.

Our foster care network in Turkey has 150 dogs at any one time with hundreds waiting to take their places as soon as they begin their journey to their eagerly awaiting new UK families.

With each dog costing us an average of £1800, as a volunteer-run nonprofit we have to fundraise every penny - that’s £270,000 a year to help these poor dogs, who through no fault of their own have found themselves being horrifically treated.
