To mark 75th anniversary of VE day on the 8th of May Worthing Rugby Club are carring out a balloon race with all profits being donated to Care for Veterans. Care for Veterans (formerly The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home) is based in Worthing and has provided vital care and rehabilitation to physically disabled veterans for 100 years. We provide long-term nursing care, short-term respite, rehabilitation and end of life care to our veterans, often at a time when they are facing the toughest battle of their lives. Rehabilitation includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, neuropsychology and social and recreational outings, all to give our veterans the very best quality of life possible and the best chance of rehabilitation and return to independent living. We specialise in caring for those with acquired brain injury and degenerative neurological conditions and have been awarded platinum status for our end of care. The Race will start on Starts 2nd June 2020 with a Duration of 7 Days. Best of Luck!
