Welcome to S.N.A.P. (Special Needs Adventure Playground)'s Virtual Balloon Race – we’d love you to take part in our Christmas fundraiser! This is virtual, so totally environmentally friendly and there is no risk to wildlife!!!

S.N.A.P. will be just one of the many charities in the balloon race.

There are national prizes up for grabs for the balloons that fly the furthest, from all charities joining this race:
* 1st: £100 cash prize
* 2nd: Echo dot
* Bonus prizes for runners up

There will also be PRIZES EXCLUSIVELY for our furthest flying S.N.A.P. Balloons!!

Each balloon costs just £3 and you can buy as many balloons as you want to increase your chances of winning. Every balloon really will make a difference.

Setting off on 1st December from Tiffany's in New York, it's a seven-day computer simulation race where everything is real except the balloon. The direction and distance the balloons fly is based completely on the way you customise your balloon, and the weather during the week. Other hazards can also affect your balloons flight such as low flying geese if your balloon doesn't have enough helium!

You can buy a virtual balloon for just £3 and give it a name, colour, shape and pattern. The software designed to run the race uses live weather data to determine the progress of each balloon and each entry can be tracked on Google Maps and Satellites once launched. You can alter your balloon’s parameters at any time to increase your chance of winning.

This online event will help with the day to day running costs of the charity which provides a safe and secure place for children with special needs and their families to play.

We are hoping that some of you may enjoy taking part in this fun event from the comfort of your own home and help us to recoup some of the funds that the charity has lost out on over the last couple of years.
