Join our festive virtual balloon race and help raise funds for Maidstone Swimming Club!

Formed in 1844, Maidstone Swimming Club is recognised as England's oldest competitive swimming organisation. Not only do we boast an enviable record of swimming and diving achievements, but also an eye for future success. We recognise our rich historical base - whilst aiming to nurture and develop tomorrow's swimming sensations.

We are fundraising to attend an overseas training camp, to help our members achieve their ambitions and be the very best swimmers they can.

Maidstone Swimming Club will be one of the many charities, schools and societies in the balloon race.

There are national prizes up for grabs for the balloons that fly the furthest, from everyone joining this race:
* 1st: £100 cash prize
* 2nd: Amazon Alexa / Echo dot 4th Generation

Each balloon costs just £3 and you can buy as many balloons as you want to increase your chances of winning.

Setting off on Christmas Day from Santa’s Village,Lapland it's a seven-day computer simulation race where everything is real except the balloon.

The direction and distance the balloons fly is based completely on the way you customise your balloon, and the weather during the week. Other hazards can also affect your balloons flight such as low flying geese if your balloon doesn't have enough helium!

You can buy a virtual balloon for just £3 and give it a name, colour, shape and pattern.
