This year Lucas was planning to host a special charity event to raise funds for The Downs Syndrome Association’s 50th Birthday celebration. Due to the current climate this has had to be postponed and it is more than likely that this will not be taking place until early next year at the earliest. With that in mind we thought it would be a bit of fun to host a balloon race to keep the fund raising going.. we are aware that due to the COVID-19 pandemic the DSA’s regular income streams have halved this year and due to the current restrictions, income has fallen both from individuals and organisations which is a great shame as demand for their services has increased hugely with people looking for advice and support because children and adults with Down’s syndrome can be especially vulnerable to the virus with calls to the Helpline up by 40%. Please help Lucas to continue his fundraising.
