This summer I am volunteering in Urubamba, Peru with the charity FutureSense Foundation (FSF) to improve the facilities of a local school and teach children English, science and about life skills. In Urubamba, it is estimated that 12% of the population lack literacy skills. With the money raised, FSF contributes to the United Nations Goal for Sustainable Development by reducing poverty, providing quality education and essentially delivering health and livelihood support. Through this project, we are giving children the knowledge to succeed and flourish in life, opportunities that everyone deserves!
