This project focuses on the lives and wellbeing of women and girls in the Maldives through the use of Girlguiding. In England, we are incredibly lucky to have spaces for young women which allow them to have equality in their development of leadership and decision making skills while growing their confidence. However, this is not the case around the world - I have witnessed firsthand the difference that the freedom of Girlguiding can make to girls, and I am thankful that I can spread this freedom to the Maldives too.
