This summer I intend to lead a group of students to Arusha Tanzania, where I will undertake a series of charitable initiatives. We are working with a charity called future sense. It’s a fantastic scheme which supplies supplementary education and water sanitation infrastructure in impoverished towns.
Our main aims will be to provide long lasting educational programs e.g. CPR, sanitation STEM English etc. I travelled out to Tanzania in 2018 as part of a group and was so inspired by the work I saw being undertaking it encouraged me to not only apply for a leadership role, but also dedicate my time to improving education around the world in whatever way I can.
I am so passionate about this work and truly believe it will make a sustainable difference.
