We - Alex, Ellie, Freddie, Kalina, Korbin and Lucy - are very excited that we'll be travelling to South Korea to the 2023 World Scout Jamboree. We'll meet young people from all over the world and enjoy some amazing adventures.

We need to raise a lot of money to fund our places and to help to pay for a scout from a developing country to attend the jamboree. We are busy gardening, cleaning cars, selling cakes, babysitting and planning some other local fundraising events. But you can support us virtually too! Please help us by buying a virtual balloon for a race that will (virtually) leave the WSJ site in South Korea on 1st August this year. That is exactly one year before the start of the actual World Scout Jamboree!

How does it work?
Each balloon costs £4. You can buy as many balloons as you like and when you have bought them, you can customize them to your own taste. You can change the size/shape/thickness of your balloon and how much helium it has in it. This can all impact on its chances in the race. There's a prize of £100 for the balloon from all WSJ fundraisers across the UK that travels the furthest in the week-long virtual race. We are also offering a separate prize of a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates for the furthest balloon bought from our own Dringhouses fundraising page - ie this one!
During the week-long race, you'll be able to follow your balloon's progress by logging onto this site.
