Madginford PTA are excited to bring you The Easter Virtual Balloon Race!!!

The Easter Virtual Balloon Race is a computer simulation race where everything is real except the balloon! It’s 100% eco-friendly with no risk of harm to wildlife.

Each virtual balloon costs just £4 and you can buy as many balloons as you would like so why not challenge your family, friends or even your teacher to see how far your balloon will travel.

Setting off from Alice Springs, Australia on the 17th April at 12pm (Noon) the balloons will be 'released' and race for 7 days. You can track your balloons live as they float around the world. The specialist software uses live weather data to determine the progress of each balloon and they can be tracked on Google Maps and satellites once the race has launched. You can alter your balloon’s parameters at any time before the race to increase your chance of winning.

The race finishes on 24th April at 12pm (noon). Winners will be contacted directly and announced on our Facebook page: Madginford PTA.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Once you’ve paid for your balloon
you can then name, personalise, and decorate your balloon via your dashboard by choosing the shape, colour, and pattern, plus the helium content and rubber thickness.

PRIZES TO BE WON
NATIONAL STAR PRIZES
For the top 12 balloons travelling the furthest from all charities joining this race: include : £500 cash, an Alexa 4th generation dot & 10 x £10 national book tokens.

LOCAL PRIZES
There will also be chance to win a £100 Bluewater voucher for the Madginford Balloon that travels the furthest.
