We are raising funds for the school to purchase study pods for the senior pupils. School are unable to offer the senior pupils a study/ common room as there are no available rooms in the school building however there are areas within the school that study pods could be placed to allow senior pupils to have an area to study, to have downtime and to discuss projects. Study pods have been placed in other high schools in West Lothian and have proved successful so it is hoped we can help the school purchase these valuable resources that will benefit all our young people as they move up the school.

So, to help us with our fundraising effort, we are asking if you can buy a balloon for Halloween and join the race! A balloon costs £4 and you can buy as many as you like. You can even gift them to family and friends. When you gift a balloon, your recipient will be given a code which they can then register their own balloon. You can design your own colour, pattern, name of balloon and you can even decide how thick you want the balloon and how much helium to put in it!

Everything about this race is real except the balloon which is virtual and eco-friendly. The balloon race will start 12noon on 31st October and lasts for 7 days. You will be able to track your balloon online. The direction of the balloon and how fast it goes depends on the real weather forecast.

This is a seven-day computer simulation race where everything is real except the balloon. The software uses current live weather data to determine the progress of each balloon and each entry can be tracked on Google Maps and Satellites once launched. It has no negative environmental impact on wildlife, climate change, plastic waste or little. So BUY YOUR BALLOON NOW and help our school.
