Dunbartonshire Scouts provides resources for 11 Scout Groups in the local area of Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute. Through the District we support around 800 young people to develop skills for life, by challenging them to grow in the outdoors. Our aim is to support more Young People to access Scouting by growing new opportunities and giving their leaders more opportunities to learn skills to take children on adventurous activities. The money raised from this balloon race will provide funds to acquire specialist camping equipment to enable our Young People to access international camps, both at home and overseas, and will allow the Leaders to access subsidised skills training to support our programme.
