Friends of Barton School are finding fun, exciting and safe ways of raising money to support the children of Barton School. We're delighted to have partnered with Ecoracing for our Christmas Day Virtual Balloon Race fundraiser. It is all virtual and online, and that means no harm to the environment.

The race is run over seven days, starting at Santa's Village, Lapland. The event is open to all schools and charities and there are some brilliant prizes up for grabs including:

1st - £500
2nd – iPad
3rd – 10 x £10 book tokens.

In addition, Friends of Barton School will be offering prizes for the balloons bought by Barton School supporters that have travelled the furthest:

1st prize - £25 voucher to Go Ape
2nd prize - £20 voucher from the Rocking Horse, Burwash Manor
3rd prize - six bottles of wine
4th prize - tea and cake for two from Flock, Burwash Manor

HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED?

Each balloon costs £3. Click on the blue bar below to buy as many balloons as you like for you, your family and friends. There is no limit, the more balloons you buy, the greater your chance of winning one of these fantastic prizes!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The race launches at 12pm on 25th December and you can buy / gift balloons until 30 mins before launch.

Once you’ve bought your balloons you can name and customise them. The computer software uses current live weather data to determine the progress of each virtual balloon, so up to the start of the race you can change elements of your balloon to increase your chance of winning.

All 100 race leading balloons can be seen at any time 24/7 during the race. If ranked outside the top 100, a ranking of 100+ will be displayed. You can locate and track the balloons by signing into your dashboard.

THE WINNING BALLOON

The overall Ecoracing winners will be emailed confirmation if they have won a prize. The email will include details of how to contact the organiser to claim their prize.

FOBS will notify the school winners directly and arrange delivery of the prizes.
