The reality of school funding today means it is difficult to find the money from our day-to-day budget for those inspirational and enrichment projects that can make such a difference to the children.

Our learning environments around the school are extremely important. Classrooms need to reflect our expectations of the children, neat, tidy and well organised. A lot of our classroom furniture is old and on its last legs. The tables are mismatched as are the children’s chairs. We want to replace almost all of the furniture in all the classrooms and some pieces around the school where children are taking part in their learning. This is a massive undertaking; it will be our biggest project to date!
