Welcome to our very first virtual balloon race! Just like a real balloon race but all done virtually so environmentally and Covid 19 friendly!

We are thrilled to be joining the Virtual Easter balloon race as a new and exciting way of raising vital funds for our amazing Fielding Primary School.

Our live fundraising events have understandably had to be postponed, however, we still really need your support and generosity so we can continue to help the pupils and staff for our school. Buy your balloon, or gift one for someone else... decorate it, customise it (amount of air, shape etc.), track it over the course of the 7 day race and have fun watching your balloon fly. Balloons are £3 each.

There are big prizes for the overall winners of the race:

Prizes: 1st prize £500 cash
2nd prize Apple Ipad
10 x £10 book tokens

BUT there will be many other balloons in the race and we’ll be competing against other charities and organisations from across the UK so thanks to very generous sponsorship from Sargeants Estate Agents we will also be awarding prizes for our 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed entrants to guarantee some Fielding winners!

The race simulates real weather conditions at that actual time such as the prevailing wind speed and current temperature and, reflecting real life, virtual balloons just like latex ones, can pop if the balloon parameters are not suited to the weather. This makes the race extra exciting and is a great way to teach the children about the weather and geography whilst raising vital funds for our school.
