Welcome to North Molton PTA's first virtual balloon race, we are hoping it will provide an exhilarating yet covid secure way to raise funds for our amazing primary school. The PTA helps to fund school trips, theatre experiences and extra equipment to further enhance the experiences of the children at our school.

Our race launches at midday on Easter Sunday (4th April) from Istanbul and lasts 7 days. You can track your customised balloons throughout the race.

The race is open to other organisations as well as to our School Community, and there are some great prizes on offer to the overall winners:
1st Prize - £500 Cash
2nd Prize - Apple iPad
3rd Prize - 12th Prize - 10 x £10 Book vouchers

We will also be awarding Easter Hampers prizes to the 3 winning balloons purchased in support of North Molton Primary PTA.

What you need to do:
1. Register/login so that you can be contacted if you win a prize
2. Buy a balloon (or several balloons) through our page (only £3 each)
3. Choose a shape, design, and colour for your balloon and choose what helium content and thickness may get your balloon to travel the furthest. This can be modified as many times as you change your mind before the race.
4. Watch the race start on midday on Sunday 4th April 2021 (Easter Sunday)
5. Login to track your balloons on their journey and see if any are in a winning position as many times as you want over the 7 days
6. Login to check if you are a winner at the end of the race

How it works:
The site uses real weather patterns to predict where your balloon will travel. Some balloons may pop if they travel too low and pop on a building or may burst if they travel too high in high winds. Can you get the balance right for the weather conditions to get your balloon to travel the furthest without popping?

Why not buy more than one to try out different combinations and in case one pops?

You can also purchase a balloon as a gift. You will receive an activation code which you can give to someone who can then customise their own balloon.
