Easter Virtual Balloon Race
Launches 4th April 2021 at 12pm in Istanbul. (Our poster shows Jerusalem, but this has now been changed by Ecoracing)

The last balloon race was such a great success that we thought we would do it again!
Why not one for Easter! This is virtual, so completely environmentally friendly and there is no risk to wildlife!!!

The race is starting in Jerusalem and launching on Sunday 4th April 2021, which uses live weather data to determine the progress of each balloon and each entry can be tracked on Google Maps and Satellites once launched.

You are able to change the colour, shape and pattern. The direction and distance the balloons fly is based completely on the way you customise your balloon and the weather during the week. Other hazards can also affect your balloons flight, such as low flying geese if your balloon doesn't have enough helium!

The winner of the race is the balloon that’s flown the furthest in ANY direction!

There are National Star Prizes (for the balloons that fly the furthest, from all charities joining this race):
1. £500 cash prize
2. iPad
3. 10 x £10 book tokens

There will also be prizes for:
- The winner in each class!
- The first place teacher!

Each balloon costs just £3 and you can buy as many balloons as you would like to increase your chances of winning.
