We are excited to inform you of our first ever virtual balloon race which will be taking place on Easter Sunday. This is a virtual race, so you can track your balloon from the comfort of your own home. Everything is real except for the balloon itself. The launch location is in Istanbul and complex mathematical algorithms mean that the virtual balloon mimics exactly what a real latex balloon would do, but in an eco friendly way.

Any funds raised will go towards the Lincoln Minster School - Recital Hall refurbishment project.

Here’s what you need to do:
1. Buy a virtual balloon by clicking on the link below
2. Decorate it (virtually, of course!)
3. Wait for the race to start (Sunday, 4 April 2021 – 12.00pm)
4. Track your balloon online
5. When the race ends, check to see if you've won anything!

Ecoracing will be providing national prizes for the balloons that go the furthest:

1st - £500
2nd - iPad
3rd - 10 x £10 book token

In addition to this, FoLMS will be providing school prizes to the top 3 LMS balloons!

1st - £50
2nd - £20
3rd - £10

Balloons cost £3 each and there's no limit on how many you can have, so get the kids involved to race against their friends, teachers and family
