The Somersham Primary School PFA is raising funds to support the school in many areas including improvements to the EYFS outdoor area, gardening facilities and new IT equipment, plus much more. The provision of high quality outdoor areas will enhance the ability of children to enjoy these spaces and learn effectively. Continuing Covid-19 restrictions have introduced a number of challenges for the school's PFA with regards fundraising, barring many of our favourite events from taking place. However, we hope that engaging activities like this eco-friendly balloon race will give families the fun and participation they can still make the most of.

Virtual balloons for the 'Halloween' race are just £3 each. You'll get a chance to personalise the balloons and then battle against other people to try and win the race. The balloons "launch" on 31 October from Dracula's Castle and the race lasts for 7 days. You can follow the race in real-time online and it is completely dictated by real life weather conditions!

As part of the race you'll have the chance to battle against 1000's of other entrants taking part in the same EcoRace for some amazing prizes:
