The Wherwell School PTA is a much needed source of income to support the children and teachers to give the best opportunity and school life to thrive.
The school is currently looking to upgrade the Year R play area. When children at Wherwell start their first year we want them to have an inviting and exciting play area for them to enjoy and get to know friends. The current play area is a bit worn out so hoping to refresh and upgrade some of the play equipment. We are also looking to create a forest school area for all the children to enjoy and explore.
EVERY BALLOON YOU ENTER INTO THE RACE MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO WHERWELL PRIMARY SCHOOL.
Virtual balloons for the 'Christmas Day' race are just £3 each and can be personalised.
You can follow the race in real-time online and it is dictated by real life weather conditions over the course of 7 days.
Wherwell Primary School PTA will be just one of many fundraisers in the balloon race. There are national prizes up for grabs for the balloons that fly the furthest, from all charities in this race:
1st: £500 cash prize
2nd: Apple iPad
10 x £10 book tokens
There will also be exclusive prizes for the 5 furthest flying Wherwell School PTA supporter balloons (more chance to win !!):

2nd Afternoon tea for x2 at Rosebournes, Andover
3rd £20
4th £10
5th Fresh fruit hamper
