Hi, we are Callum, Daniel, Isla, Jamie, Tom and Zak. We are the 6 young people from Malling Scouts who will be heading off to the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in August 2023. Each of us will be representing the District as part of the UK contingent heading to the largest gathering of Scouts (50,000) in the World. This opportunity of a lifetime includes learning new skills, discovering new cultures and taking part in an adventure with Scouts from all over the globe. We hope to take the whole District on our journey through running District fundraising events, outreach activities and sharing our experiences with the next generation that will have the opportunity to attend the Jamboree in 2027.

The total cost for the 6 of us is £24,000, which we will be fundraising over the next 15 months. The balloon race is a fun way to raise funds that we hope will be accessible to young people, volunteers, family and friends alike. We hope to raise £2000 to kickstart our fundraising efforts.

You can buy your balloon below (£4 each). On the day of the race, the balloons will be released and you will be able to track its progress. You can also edit your balloon to personalise it! Prizes are available, including £500 cash, and an Amazon Alexa.
