Oxford Atmospherics Balloon Race for Ukraine

Please join us to raise money for Ukraine. Proceeds will go to the DEC Ukraine appeal and will help refugees in Ukraine and neighbouring countries with food, shelter and essential supplies.

Please buy one or more balloons. You will be able to customise and decorate your balloon and track it in real time. Those traveling the furthest will win prizes.

Our race will start on 2nd June from London. (Originally it was supposed to be 15th May from Ukraine but this has be changed for reasons beyond our control - but more time to raise more money and they will certainly still need the money then)

Why you should join:

Great for you! Enjoy decorating your balloon and selecting its properties so it goes as far as possible taking account of local weather patterns.

Great for the kids! Kids will enjoy decorating and tracking their balloon while learning about geography and weather. It is a also a good way to talk to them about the war. Why not gift a balloon to your nephews, nieces, grandchildren and other children in your life.

Great as a Gift! Balloons can be bought as gifts to show you care about the cause. Why not have a friendly competition with your friends to see whose balloon goes the furthest. You can have a sweep stake and give some of the money to DEC (you will need to organise this)

Great prizes! First prize £500 Cash, Second prize Amazon Alexa / Echo Dot 4th Generation. 10 lucky winners of £10 Book Tokens over all the charities taking part in this race
