Bower Busy Bees is Caithness’s first Early Learning Centre (ELC) to drive forward outdoor learning for 2 – 5 year old children. Based in Bower, the setting sits in the centre of the Caithness countryside and attracts children from across the county. The nursery’s ethos is that spending time outside in nature is the best way to learn.

We are seeking funding to help the nursery to continue to have a big impact on the daily lives of the nursery children. Bower Busy Bees ELC itself is designed to ensure long-term environmental, economic and social sustainability.
