The Eco Balloon Race - National WI Day Race is an exciting and unique fundraising event that combines the thrill of a balloon race with a commitment to environmental sustainability. This virtual race takes place online, allowing participants from all over the world to join and support a worthy cause. The race starts at 12pm on the 16th of September 2023 for 7 days, the balloons will launch from Britannia Bridge Anglesey.

The primary goal of the race is to raise money for NAPA's Living the Dream Fund, which supports older people to "Live their Dreams"!. By joining the race, participants not only contribute to this fund but also have the opportunity to engage in a thrilling virtual balloon race experience.

Unlike traditional balloon races, the Eco Balloon Race utilises advanced technology to create a virtual environment that mirrors real-world conditions. It incorporates real-time weather data and interactive mapping to simulate a 24/7 flight path tracking system.
