Greyhound Gap is a small independent registered charity (No.1158499) set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds.

Although Gap’s focus is essentially Greyhounds it’s not exclusive. Frenchies, Terriers, Chihuahua’s and even a litter of kittens abandoned at the kennels gate have been welcomed to the Gap family.

Funded almost entirely by donations, they rehome around 150 dogs each year. They can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in the kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so dogs can be homed in most areas throughout the UK.

Greyhound Gap work tirelessly to raise funds to keep up their amazing rescue and rehablitiation work. They are constantly looking at more sustainable ways to raise funds and came across this eco friendly balloon racing- virtual balloons which will not harm the enviornment!
