I have been given the opportunity to go and visit one of girlguiding's world centres called kusafiri which travels round Africa empowering girls and young women. Next year they will be in Ghana and I have been given the opportunity to join them at their 10th birthday and girl guiding Ghana's centenary year. I have been very fortunate to be selected to attend 'kwantuni'-meaning traveller- volunteering / cultural immersion project with Girlguiding UK at one of our fellow world centres Kuwaiti in Ghana. The aim of the project is to bring guiding organisations from across the world together in celebration of diversity
