Schools Back Balloon Race

We are a small village primary school in Devon. To make use of the wonderful countryside setting we are raising money towards new outdoor learning facilities. In current times more than ever, space and fresh air is paramount to the physical and mental welling of pupils and staff.

This, our first ever virtual balloon race, is the start of our fundraising activities. We understand that these are difficult times financially for many families but if you’re able to spare £3 please buy a balloon and help us burst our £500 target! Why not float the idea by your friends and family involved too by sending a link to this page?

So, how does the race work? You buy a virtual balloon by clicking the link at the foot of this page. On 14 September at midday the race starts from Red Square, Moscow! You can follow your balloon’s ‘journey’ on Google Maps. After 7 days the 'winning balloon is the one that has flown the furthest, as measured in a straight line from the launch location’.
