Welcome to Salesian College PTA’s first-ever Virtual Balloon Race – we’d love you to take part in our Back to School fundraiser! (NB This balloon race is virtual ... so totally environmentally friendly and there is no risk to wildlife!!).

Star Prizes (for all charities joining in this race):
1st - £500 cash prize
2nd - iPad
And 10 x £10 book tokens

The Salesian College PTA will also be giving £50 cash to the first salesian balloon, £25 Pizza Express voucher for 2nd and £10 Amazon voucher for the 3rd Salesian balloon.

Follow the link below to buy as many balloons as you like. Each balloon costs £3. You can name and customise every balloon you buy. You can also alter your balloon’s parameters at any time to increase your chance of winning.
As soon as the race goes live you can watch on Google Maps as they all leave Red Square and fly across Moscow and to wherever the wind takes them! The 7-day computer simulation race starts on 14th September at midday, and the software uses current live weather data to determine the progress of each virtual balloon. You can buy as many balloons as you want to increase your chances of winning! Every balloon you buy will make a difference! We will update the leader board as the race goes on.

Due to Covid-19 we sadly had to cancel all the events that were planned for the end of the school year 2019-20. Whilst we fully appreciate and understand that this is a very difficult time for many, we do hope you will join in to help us start fundraising for the new school year 2020-21.

Please do share details about the event and encourage family and friends to also purchase a balloon.
All the money raised by the Salesian College PTA is used to enhance the student’s enjoyment of being at the college.
