Can you beat the 'Leeds Scares' balloon this Halloween?

‘Leeds Scares’ invites you to join the fun this Halloween and buy a virtual balloon to race from Dracula’s Castle and help raise vital funds for Leeds Teaching Hospitals.

The race starts on Saturday 31st October, lasts for a week, is real but totally online.

Virtual balloons which you can personalise are £3 each, then watch as real weather conditions dictate how the race unfolds!

You will have the chance to battle against other entrants taking part in the race for some great prizes: £500 Cash, Apple iPad & Book Tokens. Plus an extra challenge: the leader of our balloons will win a special prize...but you will need to beat the ‘Leeds Scares’ balloon!

Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to buy a balloon….... there is no limit on how many you can buy, you can even buy a balloon as a present for someone else! If you decide to run a mini competition with your teammates, CSU, school or group, remember to agree a naming convention which allows us to be able to track all balloons bought by your group.

Leeds Cares is the charity of Leeds Teaching Hospitals, which includes Leeds Cancer Centre, Leeds Children’s Hospital, St James’ University Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary.

We support NHS staff to deliver the best care for over a million patients and their families each year. Working with local communities, schools, and businesses across the city and beyond, each year we provide £5 million in additional funding for Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.

Through generous donations we have funded life-saving equipment, research fellowships, state-of-the-art technology, and improvements to the patient environment. Every penny donated to Leeds Cares helps to support the hard-working staff at our hospitals and enhance the experience of patients and their families.

Our fundraising target is: £1000

Gross monies raised so far: £228

Supporters so far: 39
