FutureSense is a charity that is committed to supporting disadvantaged communities around the world to empower them to build a better future. Despite its awe-inspiring landscapes, Tanzania is a country that faces major issues of poverty, disease and huge disadvantage. FutureSense works mainly in and around the town of Arusha with a focus on improving the quality of education and providing access to the children to basic amenities.
So, this summer I will be taking part in an expedition with FutureSense to Arusha, Tanzania. We will be focusing on sustainable primary education and sanitation at the Burka School. We will spend a month in Arusha, living within the local community and giving our all to making an important and sustainable difference. We will work closely with FutureSense to make this trip as sustainable as possible. I'm really looking forward to being a part of this expedition alongside a hard-working team that are committed to this cause and to making a difference.
