Braunton Community Men’s Shed. A place for men to meet up and chat, pursue practical interests at leisure, make friends, share skills and knowledge and have fun.
The Men’s Shed Association has been around for many years. In Braunton we are in the process of creating this great community shed in the heart of the village. We have just been granted planning permission to place two railway carriages in the village car park on the site of the old Barnstaple to Ilfracombe Railway line. The Shedders are committed to promoting the heritage of the railway within their work.
This doesn’t come cheap and we have achieved a Lottery grant and an English Heritage grant, but we will need a little more to complete the refurbishment of the carriages.
Every £3 balloon you purchase will help us to complete this task and bring something to Braunton that will help so many people now and in the future.
