We're reaching out to anyone in Surrey who is in need of emotional support after a serious diagnosis and during treatment. We're there for family members and carers too, with over 150 trained volunteers ready to listen to you and build a regular relationship during these unsettling times. Additionally as a trusted partner of Surrey County Council we are offering our volunteer support to anyone in low mood, depressed, anxious or bereaved. May we help you, or someone you love? During lockdown our core events income has dropped hugely whilst we have continued to advertise widely for telephone support volunteers, whom we have trained online. We have received over 400 referrals since March 2020, and have been in a position to place a telephone support volunteer almost immediately. Please enjoy the race and spread the word!
