Please support Celia Hammond Animal Trust (CHAT) and share the love for rescue cats by purchasing St Valentine’s virtual race balloons, which are just £3 each.

It’s our 40th anniversary year and we are currently caring for around 750 rescue cats across our London and East Sussex centres. Over the duration of the 7-day St Valentine’s Virtual Balloon Race, it will cost approximately £15,000 to feed the cats in our care, and we rely entirely on public donations.

The race starts at 12 noon on 14 February 2026 and takes place entirely online. With no real balloons involved, the event is both wildlife friendly and non-gambling.

There are prizes to win too. The overall winner will receive £100 cash, and the runner-up an Amazon Echo Dot (4th Generation). There’s also a box of CHAT goodies for the furthest-travelling CHAT balloon.

You can buy as many balloons as you like, to boost your chances of winning and support our work, and you can gift activation codes to friends and family.
