Little People UK is a charity which supports people with dwarfism, their family and friends. We support members by providing social and medical opportunities they don't often receive. The social opportunities allow people with dwarfism to socialise with others, in a safe and equal environment, where everyone is treat the same and nobody stands out due to their physical differences, this helps people with dwarfism who are often stared at and ridiculed in daily life. The medical opportunities allow people with dwarfism to seek guidance from specialists on a variety of medical implications which may arise due to their form of dwarfism, these opportunities are not available on a regular basis and therefore it is vital people with dwarfism can get this information from these experts.
