After the huge success last year, welcome to Helping Hands at St George’s School Association’s second Virtual Balloon Race! Starts 12 noon, Christmas Day from Santa’s Village, Lapland.
Sadly, due to COVID 19, we have been unable to hold any of our regular events to fundraise for St George’s as we did before the pandemic. This has resulted in a huge drop in funds raised for the school.
Our events help to raise valuable funds to support St George’s limited budget. They subsidise varied projects within school which further enhance and enrich the children’s time at St George’s.
We are currently raising funds for phase two of the Junior Playground - four pieces of outdoor fitness equipment.
Whilst we fully appreciate and understand this is a difficult time for many, we are hoping that this amazing family event will unite family together either in one household or many, it promises to be great fun! As the race starts on Christmas Day, get your family and friends to also buy balloons too and keep in touch with each other with who is winning! There is no maximum purchase, so buy as many balloons as you wish.
As will be part of a national event you can win prizes for the overall event plus Helping Hands have also decided to issue prizes for the wining St George’s balloons.
