To STOP anyone, especially small children, from carrying water, sometimes many miles in searing temperatures or through muddy fields, we provide a simple economic solution by sending a 30 litre Rotary Roll-Along Water Barrel. This prevents problems associated with water collection including physical deformity and compressed organs faced by people, more often than not young children, in developing countries.
These barrels improve lives, PLAIN and SIMPLE! and cost a mere £35 / $50 each to solve a problem

We are raising money for this and our Rotary Innovation Trust Fund to help more people have better lives and inproving the communities in which they live - locally and globally.

In Africa and developing countries around the world, women and children carry their own weight in water, in dirty jerry cans and containers, not just from a local pump (a few hundred yards away) but sometimes over 6 miles or even further, just to survive. The Rotary Water Barrel is the INSTANT solution!

Our fundraising target is: £2000

Gross monies raised so far: £69

Supporters so far: 5
